Olympus Optical, CompuCyte Expand Collaboration
CAMBRIDGE, Mass., and TOKYO, Dec. 3 -- CompuCyte Corp. and Olympus Optical Co. Ltd. announced that they have entered into an agreement providing Olympus with an exclusive right to distribute CompuCyte's laser-based imaging instruments in Asia and Europe. Olympus has been distributing CompuCyte's first-generation laser-scanning cytometer in Asia since January 2000.
CompuCyte recently launched the iCyte imaging cytometer, an automated, multilaser instrument for high-content cell and tissue analysis for drug discovery research.
