Nanosys, Matsushita Eye Building Market
PALO ALTO, Calif., Dec. 11 -- Nanosys Inc. and Matsushita Electric Works have entered into a collaborative agreement for the development of nanotechnology-based solar cells for the Asian building materials market.
The collaboration will combine inorganic nanocrystal and nanocomposite technologies from Nanosys with Matsushita's manufacturing technologies to develop solar cells. Matsushita Electric Works intends to incorporate these devices into building materials for residential and commercial facilities in Asia.
