Rockwell Scientific Co. announced it has introduced direct-write electron beam lithographic services with its new JEOL JBX 6000FS/E machine, which has a 20-nm minimum line width for standard services. Custom services are available for line widths smaller than 20 nm.
. . . James T. Dooley has been named president and CEO of
Electro Scientific Industries Inc. (ESI). Dooley, who was also elected a director of the company, has been senior vice president, CFO and acting COO of ESI since April. ESI, based in Portland, Ore., supplies manufacturing equipment to the electronics market.
