Medical Laser Companies to Merge
RADNOR, Pa., Dec. 30 -- Medical laser product developers PhotoMedex Inc. and Surgical Laser Technologies have announced they will merge.
The combined company, PhotoMedex, will focus on providing contract medical procedures to hospitals, surgical centers and doctors' offices.
PhotoMedex now develops excimer laser and fiber optic systems and techniques for dermatological applications, with FDA approval to market the XTRAC laser system for the treatment of psoriasis, vitiligo, eczema and leukoderma.
