Elop ElectroOptics Industries Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of
Elbit Systems Ltd., has received an order to upgrade the multisensor integrated electro-optic observation and surveillance systems it supplied to the Israeli Navy 10 years ago. The current thermal imaging forward-looking infrared (FLIR) camera will be replaced by a new third-generation FLIR camera. Follow-on orders are expected for the upgrade of additional systems, and the total value of the project is expected to exceed $4 million.
. . . Paul Rode was appointed to the board of directors of
CME Telemetrix Inc., a developer of near-infrared instruments for blood analysis, particularly for measuring glucose levels in diabetics. Rode recently retired as corporate vice president of Motorola Inc. CME also announced that
George Masters will resign from the board effective Feb. 28.
