Corning to Supply Fiber for D-Link India
CORNING, N.Y., Feb. 19 -- Corning Inc. and D-Link India Ltd. announced today they have signed a strategic agreement for the supply of Corning optical fiber to D-Link through 2005.
Corning will supply D-Link with optical fiber products, including InfiniCor and SMF-28 fibers, primarily to be deployed in premise wiring applications. D-Link will use cable containing Corning optical fiber as part of its Open-Link Connect structured cabling products.
Rustom Desai, South Asia telecom business manager for Corning, said, "This agreement is an important step in strengthening our relationship with D-Link and demonstrating our commitment to the growing India market."
