XTREME technologies GmbH, the nanotechnology joint venture of Lambda Physik AG and Jenoptik AG, has shipped the first prototype of an EUV light source to the British microstepper manufacturer Exitech. . . . Elop Electro-Optics Industries Ltd., a subsidiary of Elbit Systems Ltd., has entered into a teaming agreement with AeroAstro Inc., a small-satellite technology company that develops advanced micro and nano space systems and components, with an emphasis on remote sensing and optical systems. Elbit Systems said it expects to make an equity investment for a minority share of AeroAstro. . . . The International Engineering Consortium and its NanoEngineering Advisory Council will host a Nanotechnology Information eXchange (NIX) at the NanoEngineering World Forum, to be held June 23-25 in Marlborough, Mass. NIX enables universities, nonprofits and government groups to introduce programs and activities in nanotechnology.
