Acton Research Corp., a subsidiary of Roper Industries Inc., of Duluth, Ga., has completed building a new facility at 15 Discovery Way in Acton, Mass. The plant will house Acton's optical coating and instrumentation businesses and includes a Class 10,000 clean room for assembly and test operations. The new plant will accelerate the company's continued growth by allowing faster product development and expanded manufacturing capabilities, according to Gene Yazbak, president of Acton Research.
. . .Bell Microproducts Inc., of San Jose, Calif., has signed an agreement with
Fujitsu Microelectronics America Inc. (FMA), of Sunnyvale, to distribute FMA's LCD and plasma products in North and South America. The Fujitsu display products inlcude XGA, W-XGA, SXGA and UXGA LCDs from 15 to 23.1 inches, and 32- and 42-inch high-definition color plasma modules.

Space Imaging announced it has restructured its regional sales channel in Brazil and has signed contracts with Brazilian companies Engesat, GisPlan, Infostrata and Threetek. The company said its Brazilian subsidiary, Space Imaging do Brasil, is working to establish a regional affiliate there to manage the collection and distribution of imagery and products from Space Imaging's IKONOS satellite.
