Toyo, Integral Vision to Develop FDP Test System
FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich., May 12 -- Integral Vision Inc. has been awarded a contract from Toyo Corp., of Tokyo, to participate in the development of a system for lifetime testing of flat panel display (FPD) materials.
The companies will use Toyo's test system for driving multiple sample FPDs with DC or pulsed mode in a controlled environment to determine the material formulation under preset operating conditions. The system will make continuous measurements on the sample displays to acquire a database on each device. Integral Vision will provide the system sensors, software and controls for the system.
In March, Integral Vision made Toyo its exclusive distributor in Japan for its FPD inspection products, SharpEye and ChromaSee, for display technologies.
