Steven D. Berger has been named executive vice president and COO at FEI Co., a nanotechnology company based in Hillsboro, Ore. . . . Carl Zeiss MicroImaging Inc., of Thornwood, N.Y., announced it has signed an agreement with Cellomics Inc. to distribute and provide service for Cellomics' ArrayScan high-content screening (HCS) system, KineticScan HCS reader and HitKit HCS reagent kits, to academic institutions and nonpharmaceutical biotech companies in North America. Cellomics will continue to distribute the systems to pharmaceutical and biotech pharmaceutical companies focused on drug development.
