Dowslake Microsystems, Photonic Bridges Deploy MiniSis
ATLANTA, June 6 -- Dowslake Microsystems, a provider of smart modules and smart subsystems for intelligent networks, and Photonic Bridges Inc., a provider of optical networking solutions for the metro market, announced at SUPERCOMM this week that they have deployed a MiniSiS amplified network-ready subsystem by China Telecom in Sichuan and other provinces in China.
MiniSIS is an ultracompact, flexible and rack-mount optical subsystem with industry standard network management interfaces. It adds optical functions to green-field and legacy transport or switching systems. MiniSIS can be configured to perform optical transport functions such as transmission, multiplexing, amplifying and add/drop.
Photonic Bridges, based in Beijing, has R&D, manufacturing and logistic support offices in Shanghai and US offices in Denver, Colo. and in Eatontown and Basking Ridge, N.J. Dowslake is based in Santa Clara., Calif.
