Media Cybernetics Puchases DataCell's Image Analysis Assets

Analytical imaging software provider Media Cybernetics Inc. of Silver Spring, Md., has bought the scientific image analysis assets of DataCell Ltd., its exclusive value-added reseller of image acquisition hardware, software and imaging systems in the UK. The subsidiary's staff will remain in Finchampstead and will operate as Media Cybernetics UK, focusing on the sale of systems that feature Image-Pro software and IQbase image informatics, integrated with QImaging digital camera systems and other third-party devices.
