Jim Aldo has been appointed vice president of security solutions at InVision Technologies Inc. He was formerly a market and business development consultant to Yxlon International X-Ray GmbH, an InVision subsidiary. InVision, based in Newark, Calif., makes explosives detection systems based on advanced computed tomography technology for civil aviation security. . . . INRAD Inc. announced it will change its name to Photonic Products Group Inc., effective Sept. 26, and that John Rich has been reelected to its board for a three-year term. INRAD, based in Northdale, N.J., makes crystals and crystal components, custom optics, systems and instruments for the laser systems, semiconductor inspection equipment, telecommunications and defense industries.
