French Navy Orders CXR Telecommunications Access Equipment
RANCHO CUCAMONGA, Calif., Oct. 2 -- CXR SAS (France) has received initial orders from the French Navy for its secure telecommunications transmission equipment. The orders have a potential value of $400,000 over two years. CXR is a subsidiary of MicroTel International Inc., a manufacturer of defense and aerospace electronic components and communication equipment.
Graham Jefferies, executive vice president of MicroTel, said, "We continue to aggressively target the military segment of the communications market. This market has remained buoyant despite the telecommunications public carrier capital equipment downturn. The market continues to demand more flexible, faster and secure integrated communications equipment to support expanding requirements, especially for battlefield command and control information and intelligence."
