OmniVision Technologies Inc., a Sunnyvale, Calif.-based supplier of CMOS CameraChip solutions for high-volume imaging applications, has appointed Brian Hurst to the new position of vice president of strategic markets worldwide. Hurst was formerly vice president of marketing and sales for the Americas at National Semiconductor.. . .Molecular Imaging Corp. (MLRI), a provider of molecular imaging services, announced today it has signed a five-year agreement with Siemens Medical Solutions, based in Malvern, Pa., to collaborate and exchange information on prospective medical service providers. MLRI has committed to purchase molecular imaging equipment from Siemens at a discount, and Siemens will provide sales and marketing support to MLRI, in addition to equipment and project financing.
