Raytheon Co.'s president and CEO,
William H. Swanson, has been elected chairman of the board, as of Jan. 28, 2004. He is replacing Daniel P. Burnham, who will retire.
. . . Joseph Moore has been appointed director of global marketing and business development at
Infinova, a Monmouth Junction, N.J., manufacturer of closed-circuit TV equipment, access control systems and fiber optic modems, including Ethernet controllable matrix switchers. Infinova also announced it has expanded its Montmouth corporate headquarters. The new facility will house new manufacturing and office space along with larger warehouse and shipping areas.
. . . Ultratech Inc., a San Jose, Calif., supplier of photolithography systems used to manufacture semiconductors and nanotechnology devices, announced it has received a multiple-system order for 200-mm bump tools from a Tokyo-based merchant gold-bump foundry, which will use the steppers to perform gold-bump processing on display driver integrated circuits used in flat panel display applications.
