Heathrow, England-based Turbo Genset announced that its power electronics division, Intelligent Power Systems, has received an order worth up to $2.4 million for high-voltage power supplies from PRC Laser Corp., of Landing, N.J., for use with its high-power industrial CO2 lasers.   . . .    Fischer Imaging Corp. announced that its CTO and founder, Morgan W. Nields, has resigned from its board of directors and as CTO, effective December 31. Nields will concentrate on the development and funding of Senolase Inc., an early-stage technology company that is developing the Senolase system, which uses stereotactic technology developed by Fischer Imaging for precise image guidance of laser therapy and ablation in breast tumor treatment. Nields' resignation follows the recent resignations of Teresa Ayers and David Bragg from the Board.    . . .    Biopharmaceutical company NanoBio Corp. has formed a new company, NanoCure Corp., to support the development of dendrimer-based drug delivery and imaging nanotechnology products developed at the University of Michigan Center for Biologic Nanotechnology and exclusively licensed to NanoBio Corp. The technology is based on nanometer-sized polymers called dendrimers which the company said could be the basis for a new class of therapeutic compounds and imaging agents. Funded by contracts from the National Cancer Institute and the Michigan Life Sciences Corridor, NanoCure will develop cancer treatments based on dendrimer drug delivery that specifically treat cancer cells while avoiding damaging healthy cells. Dendrimers can also be programmed to simultaneously confirm the presence of cancer, analyze treatment efficacy and image tumors.
