Adept Technology Inc., a Livermore, Calif., maker of factory automation components and systems for the automotive, electronics, telecommunications, medical device, life sciences, semiconductor and fiber optic industries, announced it will provide robots, vision systems and motion controls for a fuel cell assembly system developed for Taipei, Taiwan-based Asia Pacific Fuel Cell Technologies Inc. by Lights Out Factory Automation, of Los Angeles and Shanghai, China. The assembly system will use the AdeptSix 600 robot to transfer parts between incoming feeders and assembly and test stations.
