OnFiber Acquires C2C Fiber Assets
AUSTIN, Texas, June 21 -- OnFiber Communications Inc., an Austin, Texas-based metro network solutions provider, announced it has acquired a majority of the assets and all customer contracts of C2C Fiber of Massachusetts LLC, a competitive carrier operating in the Boston metropolitan area.
The C2C Fiber network, an all-optical network serving enterprise and service provider locations, covers approximately 350 route miles in over 25 cities and towns in the Boston area. Managed network services are provided to commercial buildings in the I-495 high tech corridor west of Boston through a dense fiber network unique to C2C Fiber.
OnFiber said the acquisition of C2C Fiber’s assets significantly expands its network footprint in the Boston market and enables local customers to use OnFiber’s nationwide resources.
"By making strategic acquisitions this year, we expect to accelerate our growth with enterprises and expand our overall footprint for our carrier customers," said Danny Bottoms, president and CEO of OnFiber.
