Princeton Lightwave Buys Optical Channel Monitor Line from OFS

Princeton Lightwave Inc. of Cranbury, N.J., a supplier of near-infrared high-power lasers and detectors for communications, sensing and instrumentation, has purchased the Somerset, N.J., optical channel monitor line of OFS, which has its headquarters in Norcross, Ga. The company has acquired the physical assets, rights, designs, expertise and other intellectual property of the line and, as a result, will expand its offerings to include optical networking subsystems. Yves Dzialowski, CEO of Princeton Lightwave, has confirmed that the company has hired all OFS employees involved with the design and manufacture of the monitors.
