Fons Opens New Corporate Headquarters

Provider of passive fiber connectivity products Fons Corp., formerly of Northboro, Mass., has relocated to world headquarters in Marlboro, Mass. Situated in the region's Route 495 high-technology corridor, the facility will house research and product development, cleanrooms and testing laboratories designed to further improve the company's technology for the fiber-to-the-premises markets. Fons will be equipped to respond to the emerging demands for low-cost products for central office/head end, outside plant and customer premises applications, according to Michael J. Noonan, president and CEO.
