Melles Griot Expands Optics Group

ROCHESTER, N.Y., Aug. 18 -- Melles Griot has moved the OEM industrial optics portion of its Photonics Components Group from Carlsbad, Calif., to Rochester, N.Y., the site of its Optics Group, which provides optical components, multi-element lenses and contract-manufactured assemblies to global, optics-enabled original equipment manufacturers.

The Photonics Components Group in Carlsbad will continue to serve institutional and research market customers. Melles Griot is a supplier of photonics products including optics, opto-mechanical hardware, lasers, instrumentation, machine vision and precision motion control systems.
