Video Display and e2v technologies Enter into Agreement
Video Display Corp. of Tucker, Ga., has arranged to acquire the Pevicon camera tube assets and business of e2v technologies ltd. of Chelmsford, UK, and intends to integrate the operation into its infrared Teltron Technologies facility in Birdsboro, Pa. Under terms of the agreement, Video Display will purchase all raw materials, surplus product, production equipment and intellectual property related to Pevicon manufacturing, and its Teltron division will supply e2v with the number of tubes it needs for no less than three years.
E2v has appointed Video Display as an authorized service and repair center for its Argus thermal imaging camera range. The British company will continue to sell its cameras to firefighters worldwide.
