L-3 Buys Sarnoff Video Security Lines
PRINCETON, N.J. & ARLINGTON, Va., Dec. 9 -- Sarnoff Corp., a Princeton-based innovation services and technology development company, announced yesterday that L-3 Communications has acquired the advanced video security product lines marketed by its Pyramid Vision subsidiary. Terms were not disclosed.
The agreement covers a suite of intelligent video surveillance products, including the VisionAlert video content analysis system, Hawk sensor management platform and the Video Flashlight 3-D system.
Pyramid Vision will continue to market and support its existing product lines for advanced video processing. These include Video Detective, a law enforcement video analysis workstation, the Acadia real-time video processing accelerator and the Jam video analysis applications package, which are used in aerial reconnaissance, intelligence and law enforcement.
L-3 makes intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance systems and products for US government intelligence agencies and aerospace contractors.
