Melles Griot Achieves ISO Certification

CARLSBAD, Calif., March 17 -- Melles Griot Laser Group announced it has achieved ISO 9001:2000 certification.

The certification includes the design, sale, manufacture and service of all diode-pumped solid-state, helium neon, ion and helium cadmium laser systems.

According to Emery Skarupa, general manager, "The motivation for undertaking the process was not to receive a certificate to hang on the wall, but rather to instill in the organization a culture of continuous process improvement and quality. We know that ultimately this translates into better products, services and satisfaction for our customers."
