Edmund Optics Opens French Sales Office

BARRINGTON, N.J., March 31 -- Edmund Optics Inc. (EO) has opened a sales, service and technical support center that will be a division of Edmund Optics UK Ltd. and that will serve EO's customer base in France.

Edmund is based in New Jersey, where it has its headquarters and a quality assurance/manufacturing facility; it also has a design center in Arizona, manufacturing/quality assurance centers in Pennsylvania and in Singapore and sales and service centers in China, Germany, Japan, Singapore and the UK.

Edmund is also releasing a French version of its 356-page catalog, showcasing more than 225 new products (priced in euros) in addition to its off-the-shelf inventory and has launched a French Web site, at: www.edmundoptics.fr. The website features all 7200 products listed in the print catalog and an additional 400 discounted products available only online.
