SEMI, which sponsors the annual NanoForum conference, and the NanoBusiness Alliance and Small Times Media, sponsors of NanoCommerce, announced they are combining the conferences into one event,
NanoCommerce/NanoForum 2005, to be held November 1-3 at the McCormick Place and Hyatt Regency Hotel, Chicago. The conference will be a forum for nanotechnology manufacturing businesses, including nanotechnology manufacturers, material suppliers, equipment manufacturers and service providers. Stanley Myers, SEMI president and CEO, said, "The goal of NanoForum was to identify new growth opportunities beyond semiconductors and displays for the materials, metrology and process tools that enable nanomanufacturing. Our members wanted a forum to develop new business relationships. This combination provides the exact audience composition to make these relationships possible."
