LASER DIODES

A 50-page catalog from Modulight Inc. presents the company’s coaxial fiber pigtail lasers, including the 1550-nm Fabry-Perot types for analog applications such as radio frequency over fiber and wireless repeaters. Among other products are the 1310-nm Fabry-Perot laser diodes with narrow spectral linewidth in a 5.6-mm TO can for digital optical communications networks with up to 2.5-Gb/s speeds. A section on bare die products includes the 1310-nm laser diode chip for 10 Gb/s, which features low threshold current and performs well at high temperatures.
