Alliance Supports Development of Luxeon Technology

Lumileds Lighting LLC of San Jose, Calif., and its distributor Future Electronics of Pointe-Claire, Quebec, Canada, have formed the Lumileds Future Electronics division, a one-stop resource for the development and manufacture of Luxeon high-power LEDs and solid-state lighting. The partnership focuses on providing products, engineering, support and services to system manufacturers and designers.

Services available through the initiative and affiliated system integrators and component suppliers include Luxeon assembly, board integration, illumination systems, standard and custom optics, and heat management.
