CVI Laser Secures Optical Components

CVI Laser LLC of Albuquerque, N.M., has purchased Optical Components Inc., a manufacturer of custom optical elements and coatings for such industries as the aerospace sector and for national laboratories. The acquisition of the Covina, Calif., company will enable CVI to expand its capabilities in rapid prototyping, high-volume production, and infrared imaging optics and assemblies.
