A capabilities brochure issued by Hamamatsu Corp., titled “Hamamatsu Photonics, More Than the Eye Can See” describes the company’s systems, solid-state, electron tube, and research and development operations. It highlights single-element detectors, including photomultiplier tubes, silicon photodiodes and infrared detectors, as well as multielement detectors and cameras such as image sensors, photodiode arrays, position-sensitive detectors, board-level cameras and electron-multiplier CCDs. Among other products presented are lamps, laser diodes, scintillators, image intensifiers, microchannel plates, electron-multiplier tubes, microfocus x-ray sources, x-ray line sensor cameras and dental imaging components.
