Unaxis Licenses Color Management Technology

Unaxis Optics of Balzers, Liechtenstein, has licensed its patented ColorWheels technology to a Taiwanese optical manufacturer for use in projection display applications. The technology is used for various types of sequential color management in multimedia projection systems, such as those for digital light processing. The nonexclusive agreement covers Unaxis' US patents and corresponding ones in European and Asian countries that are either granted or pending.
