Honeywell announced an agreement to acquire
Lebow Corp., a manufacturer of automotive and aerospace force and torque sensors and load cells, based in Troy, Mich. Lebow will become part of Honeywell’s Sensing and Control business, which manufactures sensors, switches, machine safeguarding and other devices for a variety of OEM applications in automotive, aviation, medical, information technology, consumer appliance and industrial businesses.
. . . Photronics Inc., a Brookfield, Conn.-based manufacturer of photomasks for semiconductors and flat panel displays, announced a tender offer for all the remaining publicly held shares in
PK Ltd. in Korea which the company did not previously own. Photronics, which owns 90 percent of PK Ltd., plans to acquire the additional equity in Korea's leading independent photomask manufacturer from existing PKL shareholders in exchange for cash consideration of approximately 27.7 billion Korean won (approximately $27.5 million US). Additional financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
