!%Jenoptik Laser, Optik, Systeme GmbH%! has released ProgRes Capture Pro software for scientific camera systems, expanding its existing ProgRes Capture Basic program. Available as a free download to registered ProgRes camera users, the software enables rapid calibration of the camera to the microscope and display of the distance measurement and scale bar directly in the live image. Measurement results can be stored within the image and saved as a corresponding text file. Among other features, a selectable region of interest in the live image facilitates focusing, and a time-lapse function for capturing image sequences enables observation of cell growth or other moving objects.
