MVTec Software Names Representative

MVTec Software GmbH has appointed Lambda Photometrics Ltd. of Harpenden, UK, as its distributor in the UK and Ireland. The Munich, Germany, company’s software tools for machine vision have applications in such areas as web inspection and semiconductor manufacturing. Lambda will provide technical support for MVTec’s Halcon software library and ActivVisionTools application creator.

The transition was synchronized with the launch of Halcon version 7.1 in September.
