Universities Forge Agreement for Optical Sciences Courses
In a collaborative agreement between the institutions, the University of Arizona’s College of Optical Sciences in Tucson will offer distance learning classes to students at China’s Changchun University of Science and Technology. Changchun students who complete five three-unit courses with a final grade of B or better in each will receive a Professional Graduate Certificate from the college. Instructor and student exchanges, scientific and research programs, and delegation visits will be part of the arrangement, which has been three years in the making.
