Isra Vision Wins Order for Inspection Systems

Isra Vision Systems AG of Darmstadt, Germany, has received a follow-on order for optical inspection systems from beverage can manufacturer Ball Corp. of Broomfield, Colo. The contract for the Can Expert systems, valued at approximately $1.2 million, is aimed at quality assurance in food packaging. Can Expert inspects more than 50 cans per second for defects and dimensional accuracy. It reads a can’s tool number and continuously analyzes tools for multiple defects.
