Downloadable from the company’s Web site, the 95-page “Lightwave Catalog 2005” from Agilent Technologies Inc. describes test products and applications for the development of high-speed computing and communications technology. A section on optical and photonic testing equipment to enable broadband infrastructure includes Lightwave measurement and multichannel systems, Fabry-Perot laser modules and high-power optical attenuators. Among products for characterization are the ParBert parallel bit error ratio tester, a multirate optical/electrical clock recovery module and a wide-bandwidth oscilloscope with jitter analysis.
