Meller Optics Inc. has released the CD “High Precision Optics 2006 Stock Parts List,” which specifies the company’s overrun parts, including more than 1000 sapphire optics in many configurations and more than 1500 other types made from materials such as BaF₂, CaF₂, ZnSe silicon, germanium, laser glasses, and fused and crystalline quartz. Providing descriptions, photographs and information on pricing and availability, the resource presents items such as IR and broadband optics, sapphire and ruby balls, and sapphire carrier disks, wave plates, domes, lenses, windows and mirrors.
