UV LIGHT CURING
The 20-page “Guide to Selecting and Using Dymax UV Light Curing Systems” discusses the fundamentals of UV light curing and how to set up and monitor a process for curing adhesives and coatings. Released by Dymax Corp., the publication describes UV spot lamp systems, which offer integral shutters and Cool Blue filters, and UV flood systems, which are suitable for curing large parts or many small parts simultaneously. A section on the Fusion F300S focused-beam light source details the system’s elliptical reflector and its use of microwave energy to generate UV radiation. Conveyors, radiometers, lightguides, shielding and shutters also are presented. Numerous photographs, charts and diagrams are provided.
