Elbit and Subsidiary Acquire Panoptes

In Israel, Elbit Vision Systems Ltd. of Yokneam and its subsidiary, ScanMaster Systems (IRT) Ltd. of Hod Ha’Sharon, have agreed to acquire Panoptes Ltd. of Yokneam, a supplier of machine vision systems for surface inspection, especially of textiles and technical woven materials. The acquisition will enable Elbit to employ its industrial web inspection expertise to provide new technologies for industrial applications. Panoptes will benefit from Elbit’s global marketing networks for the distribution of its products.
