PI (Physik Instrumente) GmbH & Co. KG has launched a Web site redesigned to help users view and download information on its products, including motor controllers, piezo motion controllers, piezo linear motors and actuators, motorized stages and actuators, nanopositioning and scanning stages, hexapod 6-axis alignment systems, and steering mirrors and mirror shifters. It details technologies such as PILine ceramic linear motors, Nexline high-force nanodrives and nanometrology sensors. Also covered are microscopy, aeronautics, biotechnology, nanotechnology, and semiconductor and data storage technology. The portal includes tutorials, selection guides, technical notes and a Piezo-University section, which explains how piezoelectrics are used in nanopositioning systems.
