Kuka Robotics Endows Chair at Ga Tech
Industrial robot maker Kuka Robotics Corp. of Clinton Township, Mich., announced it has donated $1.5 million to the College of Computing at the Georgia Institute of Technology to endow the Kuka Chair of Robotics, to be held by international robotics expert Henrik Christensen. The company also donated a six-axis, articulated robot made of stainless steel, to be used to develop automation solutions for industries such as food and beverage and medical.
