Fiber Optic Training Offered in Adirondacks

Fiber Instrument Sales Inc. (FIS) has opened an Adirondack training facility for its 2006 summer season at the Bright Side lodge, at Raquette Lake. Enrollments are being accepted for its two-day Fiber Optics I & II course, scheduled for June 19-21, July 24-26, August 7-9 and August 21-23. The hands-on training will include instruction on fiber optic splicing, polishing techniques, cable preparation, connector assembly and test equipment.
