Kyocera Announces Staff, Management Promotions

Kyocera America Inc., a San Diego-based maker of microelectronic packaging products and optoelectronic components, has announced the following promotions: Keith Fujii, Layer Div. program manager, to Layer Div. design manager; Nancy Platon, senior staff accountant, to manager of accounts payable and general ledger; and Richard Sabo, junior accountant, to staff accountant; he will also be in charge of import administration. Steve Bowen, executive account manager, was promoted to district sales manager for the new Phoenix, Ariz., sales office; Tony Soldano, executive account manager, to district sales manager for the new East Fishkill, N.Y., sales office; and Antonio Pagkalinawan, sales engineer, to district sales manager of the New Jersey sales office. Sales Engineer Josh Castleberry is now US sales product manager for electro-optical products.
