New Korean Office, Catalog, Web Site for Edmund Optics

Edmund Optics (EO) has opened a division in Seoul, Korea, and has introduced a Korean version of its catalog, which is also available online, at www.edmundoptics.com/kr. In addition to the 7600 products in the print catalog, the site offers 400 discounted products available only online. Timothy Paul Kennedy, marketing director for EO's Singapore division, will oversee the Korean office. Optical Engineer Rhee Joon Ho will manage day-to-day operations and will be available to answer technical questions and application inquiries. John Cleather, vice president of international sales at EO, said the company will aim to provide the level of support its offers customers in the US and Europe. "That means responding to technical queries on the day they are received and moving to a next-day delivery service for most orders," he said. Edmund Optics, based in Harrison, N.J., makes optics, imaging, and photonics components and equipment for the R&D, electronics, semiconductor, pharmaceutical, biomedical and military markets.
