The most extensive body of optics and photonics technical content covering emerging technologies will be offered at Optics & Photonics 2006 — colocated with SPIE's 51st annual meeting — August 13–17 in San Diego, Calif.
With more than 2600 technical presentations, 70 courses and 370 exhibitors, Optics & Photonics 2006 will offer classic and cutting-edge optics and photonics research, training and product information to more than 5000 scientists, engineers, managers and sales representatives.
Top-level speakers and more than 1000 technical presentations will focus on exciting developments in emerging technologies such as organic photovoltaic energy sources, nanotechnology, solid-state lighting, and solar and alternate energy.
Topics will also include optical engineering, remote sensing, materials and devices, signal and image processing, illumination engineering, nanotechnology and x-ray optical technologies.
