Applied Materials Appoints Kodak CFO to Board

Applied Materials Inc. of Santa Clara, Calif., a maker of nanomanufacturing technology solutions for the electronics industry, announced the appointment of Robert H. Brust, CFO and executive vice president of Eastman Kodak Co., to serve on its board of directors, effective immediately. Brust, who announced he will retire from Kodak effective Feb. 1, 2007, will serve as a member of the board's audit and strategy committees. Prior to joining Kodak in 2000, Brust was senior vice president and CFO of Unisys Corp.
