Imra America to Build Lab with German Groups

Imra America of Ann Arbor, Mich., has entered into an agreement with Lehrstuhl für Lasertechnik RWTH University Aachen and Fraunhofer Institut für Lasertechnik of Aachen, Germany, to create the Premier Application Laboratory for testing advanced ultrafast fiber lasers in Europe. It is expected to promote research on materials processing applications. Outside researchers will be allowed to use the facility.
