Quantapoint CEO to Relocate to Houston

Eric Hoffman, CEO of Pittsburgh-based laser documentation company Quantapoint Inc., will relocate to Houston to spearhead its expansion into the area, the Houston Business Journal reported Friday. The company said its decision to open an office in Houston stems from overall growth in the oil and gas industry. Quantapoint uses laser beams to take three-dimensional pictures of industrial complexes such as refineries, chemical plants or offshore oil and gas facilities; it serves the offshore, power, process and architectural markets.
